This is for everyone who thinks I’m too hard on John Edwards. This right here! I’ve always felt that John Edwards and Bill Clinton had more than a little used car salesman in them. Maybe every politician does. The only difference is, I’d probably still buy the car from Bill.

I like that, send us off to a bunch of crying nervous nellies. I especially liked how the obvious comparison to Obama was rebutted with the Illinois service and WINNING.
Why is it US Citizens buy all the shit the press writes? Why can’t they just show a little common sense? Why can’t we all be FTP readers?

oh dear. i actually did click on the edwards link. fuck him. or at least, that’s the first thing i would say if this were not a family blog.
the other reason is that although i never made a commitment to him or a campaign of his, i seriously considered it and i was deeply moved a few times when he talked about the two america’s. i know that ftp was always disdainful of mr. edwards. i wish i had that horse sense about politicals myself.
thanks for the post, it’s good feedback for when i think i know something politically. makes me think john edwards will encounter some bitterness if he’s seeking a comeback without an apology that is backed up by Good Work that demonstrates an inner change in the guidance of his character.
